if I were going to get a large lizard..larger than 24inches..lol
what is tha tameist 1??

I love desert habitats......(not too much mousture.)

iv been looking at tegues--but they require alot of moisture....
im not too shure about savs

I WOULD LOVE and egyptian uro!!..3 feet!!.lol..no one sells em
give me some oppinions...

A breaded dragon they get 24 inches, a savannah monitor is a good choise too. If you have the money get a sand monitor V.argus, there are tons of choise.

Ok if you really want a good size lizard. Savs or white throats are a good choice. Tegus are awsome. They aren't really that hard to take care of. Uros are awsome but good luck finding a breeder for that perticular species. If you like desert species why not a spiney tailed iguana? If you get one young enough they can be good pets. Just some ideas.

Just to clarify one thing.. savs grown to be easilly 3 plus if not 4 feet full grown .. they are not a desert animals but on the contrary require high humidity .. and are Extremely easy to keep alive in captivity because there really TAUGH (unfortunetly for them as they are put to a slow death) but hard to make thrive ..

Albigs get HUGE.. there the largest african monitors ataining a good 32 pound for the females and up to 70 pounds for the males.. I don't consider that a smale lizard.. althoguh they are my favorites..
