Hey guys, Time to modify my cage, I have 3 bars in it and they are in the way like crazy. I find that if Its hard to get to the snake or hard to clean the cage I tend to not handle it as much and the cage gets messy. So yeah, Can I see the cages? Thanks all!

3 bars? (branches I assume?). Ditch 2 of them and stick with one nice sturdy one (thickness varies based on size of snake). No need to make a maze of branches because if you ever needed to get that snake out, it would be impossible without destroying the cage, or busting the carpet's tail (they have fragile tails).

Thanks Jeff! Yeah, Im gunna have to take out the two. But I have a plank with a hide on it glued to them so Ill have to screw it in...not sure if that will be sturdy enough. Where did you get those branches? Mine are just bars from my closet, the little thing that u hang your clothes on you know? I took one of those out and dut it to the apropriate size. Do Carpets need a lot of hides like BPs do? I currently have 2 terrestrial, one aboreal hide. I will be using coconut bark on the bottom lined with some 50w Heatrope and a 75W basking bulb on the top. So hopefully thats enough heat. Any Ideas on how I cna trnasform the plexi into a sliding front? Thanks! :D

I've got a whole web of branches in my big IJ enclosure... it's a challenge to get him out sometimes. but not really that hard.

3 hides seems adequate to me. My Jungles on ever seem to use 1 hide. But they could be weirdos, LOL!
