I'm using a Canon Powershot A40. It's super eay to use as well as affordable, and it takes pictures comparable to the more expensive cameras :)

My mom has the powershot a45, takes larger pics than I thought. She got me the s45, super great camera. It has options out the wazoo. From what I hear Canon is the best for $vsperformance.
