housing ATBS

hi.. i just got a pair of ATBs and i was thinking about housing them together.. maybe not permanetly but for awhile.. just to make a bit of room in my room until i get some wall units built.. do they do well together? i 've read on some sites that they can be cannabalistic.. but others say they won't be.. and would it cause breeding problems later down the road if they are kept together?
the enclosure for the moment is 3.5ft long x 2.5ft wide x 2.5feet tall.. the female is 4.5ft and the male is about 2.5ft.. i was just wondering if anyone can give me their opinion? and if this post makes no sense.. i appologize.. i am pretty dead tired and in a rush to leave for work.. so i don't feel like reading it over... thanks in advance..

I house them in a 25 gallons tank presently.

They are about 6 months old.

Dont know if it would be safe in your case since the are of a different size, but theres no problem with mine.

hrmm.. male and female? and how big are yours.. i got mine 2 sats ago.. so i have no idea how big 6 month old atbs would be.. and do you have feeding trouble or do you remove them when its feeding time? and can you handle them? the little male is handleable but the female isn't..

2 of my 3 sub-adults started in the rubbermaid containers on the top shelf there. The third in a 12x12x16 Barrs cage. I know have all 3 in the 12x12x16 Barrs. At full adult they will move up to the 20x20x20 Barrs.

I have kept up to 3 ATB's together with no problems but there is always that chance. Most definately seperate them at feeding time or you will have teeth coming from every direction.

Crucified.. Mine are about 24" but I'm not really an example to follow, I feed them in their encloser without separating them.

But I allways keep an eye on them 'till their preys are swallowed when doing so.

The best is to feed them out of the tank and sepratly.

But as for co-habitation, I never saw any signs of agression.
