Ok I am at a carnival when I went in one of the big bulidings to look at nature and health stuff when me and my mom came across some poeple with some cool animals i noticed they had a beared dragon an i pointed it out to them then i saw a couple of BPs in a rubermaid container I asked if i could hold one he said i couldn't because he didnt want to be liable for a bite then i told him i have 3 of my own then the girl said" i guess we can take them out for a minute" then let me hold one. He was going on and on how the pet traid was killing animals making me feel like he was telling that I was wrong for owning them my mom starteld one of the bps so i handed it back to the girl. So i thanked them and wen on with the night but all day i was just thinking of geting all of my bps (even the albino) and puting them back in gahna. Well my question for ya is am I a bad person or was that guy getting a little carried away.

he was just trying to give a educational speach cause the pet trade is killing off Bp's cause they are almost all imports but I am guessing that you get them from a breeder so why would you put a animal that has never seen the wild back just cause there native there dosent mean that it will servive if you put it back
and the albino will not last 24 hours I would bet $$$ on that.
The guy was just trying to make him self look big and feal good about him self.
My question is was the info he tryed to feed you was fals or not.
Heavens, no, you're not a monster!!! Do you steal animals from the wild and profit off of them? Do you house them in unsafe and unsanitary conditions? There are some monsters involved with the pet trade, but you are far, far, far from being one just because you own snakes.
Hobbyists who help to promote understanding and appreciation for snakes are good people!

Thanks eyespy, i know the imformation he gave me was true but he could have saw from the start that I knew my reptiles and i am not the type to get animals just to say i have them. They had a sloth that they took from some body and he said the guy they took him away from just had it just to said they had it. But i have been studying and learning about snakes since I was 9 and I know how they should be housed ect, but after he told me all that stuff it just made me feel bad. Thanks for support guys and letting me know that i am not a monster.

Uhhh, you're definitely not a monster for owning snakes, but reading that post gave me a headache. PLEASE edit your posts before you hit 'submit.' Theres a little thing called 'punctuation'......try it sometime. I'm really not trying be an a-hole, but I seriously almost had no idea what you were talking about due to the horrible grammar and spelling.
