A true nature nut..

..I was going through my video collection and I came across a few shows of John Acorn "The Nature Nut". Now I dnno about you guysbut he was truely a favorite of mine and I actually woke up early just so I could watch his show, even if they were re-runs. He was one of the orginals and wasn't in it for money or ratings... I was curious to if he still came on in Canada ( doubtful) and if anyone actually liked him.

He's actually an Edmontonian...his stuff ran here for quite some time. And I have a scary story...

He goes to shows here as a special guest quite often. A few years back, my mom and I got a chance to talk to him...and he was <i>hitting on my mom</i>!
I can't watch the shows the same way again. ;)

last year, he was on every morning at like 6 or 7am, but i havent seen him on in a while!

I never heard of him. And 6/7 am is way too early for me. I have problems getting up at 10 am for Zoo Diaries:)

hehehe, I just saw him yesterday. I said to my daughter "Oooh, the Nature Nut is on!!!" She's 11 and thought I was kinda weird for getting so excited. :p

I can't remember what time or channel it was on though...

Holy crap! I thought I was the only person in Canada that liked him never mind North America:D I'd sit there through his goofy a$$ songs and laugh mine off while my kids were looking at me like I had some kinda brain fart or something!! LOL

I remember that guy!!!!! LOL I think every once in a great while they'll rerun one of his shows on Animal Planet... but it's been awhile!!!
