Ok, so here's the first guy out of his/her egg! :D A lot of the other babies have their heads out and they look pretty red/purple-ish. This guy and one other so far, look anery to me. Now, I know corns are not their true color when they hatch but can anyone tell me if I am crazy or not? This guy really looks anery to my ignorant eyes. ;)

Always great to get the unexpected - great news that your breeders are het for anery A, guess it would be too much to ask for an albino in one of those unhatched!
Congrats,

nice anery 'A'!
I can't comment on the ID but thank you for that photo of it slithering on your hand! I have wanted to see a good size comparision of the hatchlings to get a good idea what to expect (havent had a hatchling in a couple years!) when my eggs hatch!
:) Very beautiful baby!
Marisa
I'd say that is an anery too...but you'll never know until it shed a few times....cause some of the creamsicles last year hatched out as bright yellowish orange but turned out to be real red at the end.....(sigh...don't know what happened there....lol....)
but I have never heard of a blackish grey (anery) turn into amel...hahaha so I guess that is an amel~
congrats on the new hatchlings!!!

He's so cute and tiny, Congrats
I cant wait for mine i still have 6 or 7 weeks lol.
Forgive me for my ignorance....but what is an "anery A" and what makes it different from other aneries? Good luck on the rest of them Cranwill!!!!
Let me try this.....(I am TERRIBLE with gentics and frankly I probably shouldn't even guess whats in MY eggs for that reason LOL)
Anery A is the typical grey and black snake with strong yellows that come in on the neck and head area as they get a bit older. Anery A is the one that when mixed with Amel you can make Snows. A nice detailed explanation:
http://www.serpenco.com/cultivars/anerythristic.html
Anery B is also known as Charcoal....These snakes typically get less to no yellow as they age, and charcoal mixed with amel will get you Blizzards. Excellent explanation here since I am sure I F'd it up trying to explain myself (LOL)
Anery B/Charcoal explanation:
http://www.serpenco.com/cultivars/charcoal.html
Mind you in either case the yellow is not always a tell tale sign anymore, and plenty of lines of both Anery A and Anery B have been bred showing the opposite of the norm (i.e. Anery A with little to NO yellow, and vice versa)
Marisa
Thank you Marisa, from reading those links, it SEEMS that the anery A's have more contrasting between their ground color and blotches compared to an anery B? Is this more or less right? Or am I in left field? I looked at some of the pics and in each they do have some yellow around the necks, but the Anery B's look more "drab" compared to the A's. Is it just me?
Well it just depends. Most people say there is NO way aside from breeding trials to know for *sure* if you have an anery A or anery B....but some examples are obvious, but even then some look like the other. Its confusing.
If I was looking for a Anery B I would make sure it was a good breeder, and could tell me what the parents were because its nearly impossible to tell with some of them.
Marisa
They're cute when they're liddle!
Good luck with them
