New Tokay

Hey,
like 3 days ago RachelS. Press.nixon and I where at a pet-co just to look around and they had this tokay there axel(press.nixon) wanted on but he cant get anymore lizards so he offerd to buy it for me. not know how to respond i said uhhhhh. ok and he and rachel got it for me now it is realy "our" gecko but it stays at my house and i only had to spend 6 bux for all the stuff he needed. i had a old Cham cage with good shurubs and braches and vines and stuff. so i put him in that in my bathroom. they have vanity lights and if i keep them on the bathroom stays at i consant like 84-85 so it works out well. even though he was from pet-co he is still in good shape. he is one mean SOB so i guess that a good thing though well here are some pics enjoy

LOL Omg, it was funny because we went out to Marble Slab for ice-cream and my dad gave me $20. Then I came back home with $6 and a tokay gecko...hahaha. That cage looks awesome Mike! Next time I come over I gotta see that!! :D

And for everyone else: she is a bit lighter colored than the pics show. It kinda looks like she was stressed when these were taken :(

yes it is on the bathroom counter because my room is and i am not kidding a HUGE PIG PEN!!! i am still building my burm cage and it alone takes up half my room lol i guess thats the commitment you man when you buy a burm (i wish everyone would think that way) well i think ill keep him in there permenitly anyway because the humidity and teps are pefect in there

luckly i had ALOT of extra stuff from my cham i have alot more suff but i dont like the cage to be too cludery but i will gets some hide spots and stuff for him

Actually it looks perfect! What a sweet cage and a spoiled Tokay! These are by far my favorite geckos. Everyone should have one .........in there bathroom.

Ehem, I just realized this... but isn't that the cage that was given to me for my future cham?... grrrrr! Fine the tokay can have it!! I'll just pout and cry in a corner. lol

HELL YA!!! Correct me if i am wrong but about 99.5% of tokays are wild-Caught so they are naturaly wild. there are a few tame ones out there but they are usually CB i guess it is easyier for people to import them than breed them. CB are like 6X the price though.

yea, thats right even know im not a lizard person i have done some stuff on them
