What's a good setup like for one of these guys? I'd like his cage to be more arborial. I keep him in a Kritter Keeper right now, and I don't think that's the best way to keep an Ornamental. Any ideas?

He/she has a little red and yellow on the under legs, but other than that no where else that I know of. Thanks :)

I keep my Oramental in a large Kritter Keeper. But he is still small. With a Eco earth/sand mix and two large peices of bark going across on a 45 degree angle. He just hangs out between the two and catches food and spins webbing!:D Happy little T until you bug it! I spray a corner of the tank every couple of days. When it gets bigger I will do the same set up in a 20 gal! Just remember they like 70% humitity. This is an old site that never gets updated but it has great care info. www.bighairyspiders.com Check it out! My favorites are ornamental also! Have you seen the new bengal spotted ornamental?www.invertepet.com ornamental at :D Hope you enjoy:D-Tim.

I would be very carfull handeling ony of the poecilotheria because they have the most potent venom of any tarantula. We keep all your large adult poec's in 5.5 gallon hex tanks with a corc tube in the middle for a hide.
