New tokay

Well I got a new tokay and man was he mean at the shop so I went home and got some gloves and let him just chomp away on my hand untill he figured "aww man this is ********" so eventualy he just stoped all together but I still dont dare to do it w/ out gloves Ill post pics LATA

Gotta love Tokays! They are one of my favorite lizards. Ever since I was a kid. Must get more!!!!!!!!

hey, my tokay is exactly the same. except i dont believe in gloves realy. i handle all mine w/o gloves. all i do is simply get him so hes facing away, and hurry up and grab him behind his head. but yesterday. HE GOT ME. it was my first time at getting bit, by any of my animals

My tokay's like that too. Luckily, she doesn't like to hang on for very long, she just bites and releases.

She's actually pretty calm until you touch her. She hates hands. *grin*

Hmm how did it feel to get bit? I mean I feel presure through the glove but I dont really think they bite as bad as there reputation has it

I got bit between my index finger and thumb.. Nice big flap of skin into a big females mouth. That hurt and bled quite alot.

I imagine it more or less is where you get bit.. and how callaced your hands are. Was funny watching Steve Irwin with two tokays hanging off his thumbs.
