ooops stupid computer, pushed tab and then acidently hit enter and it sent this post a little to early, sorry about that.
anyways i wanted to ask what the ideal screen reptarium size is for a bredding pair of veiled chams.
thanks in advance
Alex
I'd say 2.5W x 3.5H x 2.5D.
However, you shouldn't keep veiled chameleons. While it can be done, males are usually quite persistant and can stress the female.

You can not keep male and female veileds togeather in the same cage. They MUST be housed in there own all screen cages. The recomended cage size for adults is 24"Lx24"Wx48"H.
Hope this helps!

Don't keep males and females together.....If you have a large enought enclouser you can house more than one female together, just make sure they have plenty of basking spots..

Okay thanks everyone, the cage needs to be screen right? Becuase at my local pet store a guy dropped of his veiled cage to be looked after for a few days and he has a male and a female in a glass aquarium, and the female is always a realy dark black colour...is that bad? Oh and by the way I only want to get one cham now after what youve all said, thanks for stoppping me form making a mistake!
Glad to hear it :)
Yes, you should use a screan cage, because the chameleons will need a UV light and the UV rays don't go through glass (or plastic). They also need a lot of ventilation. Humidity can be acheived with a couple live plants, and you need to spray a couple times a day.
