Since I own corns, my BP Eights bathroom habits were quite a surprise and a little worrisome at first because I was not used to a pythons system compared to a corns.

But how little is too little? At this point he eats when he is hungry (looking, I can only assume hehehe) which is about every 4-10 days. As of now he hasn't crapped in maybe a little over a month. This *seems* to long, but then again I know I can get a little jumpy about it because I own all colubrids. Normally after like three weeks I can tell he is getting fatter and we rub him a bit and give him a bath and he goes.

Is this like everyone else's BP? This is the longest he has gone yet.

When I first got my BP, he'd only poop when he shed, which was every 3-4 weeks... I'm sure he's fine, unless he starts looking really uncomfortable....

I dont' keep track of when snakes poop......just keep feeding him and he'll go when he's ready.

I had the same reaction when I got my first BP, she only goes every 4 weeks or so after a few meals and my male is the same way. Such a difference than with cornsnakes!!! They go about 48-72 hours later!!! Little crap machines I call em! :D hehe

Neither of my BP's have had any problems going when they have to, never had hard bumps near the cloaka or things of the such.

I like the fact that BP's are like this, it makes cage cleaning so much easier, hehe!!! I'll always remember the first time my male BP took a crap (I got him as a full grown adult) it was HUGE!!! Even my bf was impressed!!! LOL

I too was worried about by BP when he went almost 10 weeks without leaving me a present. This was at the tail end of a period when he did not eat much either so now that he's eating more...the poo is a little more "regular"....my point is...don't worry too much about it.

I don't really keep track....but its fairly easy to notice after four weeks that I haven't had to do a really full cage cleaning yet....and like Clownfishie brought up, he ends up looking very uncomfortable!

Wow ten weeks! I can definitly see that coming one time or another. He is such a stickler about having the perfect time and place to go.

But yeah I just wanted to hear what everyone had to say :)

I think your being a bit harsh on corns "Little crap machines" but I would have to agree!
