OK well i went all over my city to look for breeders and i found one. I bought my snake from a reptile shop and the ball python ate on its own without a problem. I'm not sure how long he is, hes a hatchling and he fits in my palm. Hes so cute! The clerk told me i can't handle him too much because hes only a hatchling and its a new environment. When can i handle him??

Is it ok to put any fake plastic leaves and trees? these weren't bought from the pet store, they were old fake plants my mom used to use to decorate the house with.

Thx

give the snake a week or 2 to get use to his/her new environment. then hold alot to get real tame. bp are some of the most tame i think. dont hold for two days after feeding. the plastic plants and things are fine you just need to soak them in a bleach/water solution about 5-10% bleach. make sure its washed good then you can use it. take care Nick
