L.m.thayeri laid 9 eggs 1 slug I hope to produce some black offspring from her, she was bred mainly by a black male, although a buckskin male was used once to help insure I got fertile eggs.

I have never breed snakes...and I don't think I am going to try, but I am curious. I have a Cal. King, and an Arizona King...if it turned out that one was a male and the other female. Could I breed them? I don't think I would...cause they are known for eating each other....but I was curious anyways. Besides, I don't even know what sex they are and I don't know how to check. I wouldn't try it on my own...might hurt my snake. Maybe someday when I take them to the vet...I'll have him check them. But can they cross breed like that?
DO NOT try breeding hybrids just cos you don't have true pairs of a species. There's enough hybrids out there and there's no need for more.
Sorry if I cam across strongly but I'm very particular about hybrids. The worst reason for producing them is you not having true pairs of each ssp. Pls I beg you, learn more and try getting true pairs before attempting breeding. :D

Sorry I misunderstood. Yes it is possible to breed them. :)
