Hello i just got a White's tree frog given to me and this is like my first frog and i did not think i would like owning a frog being that i am into snake's more but this guy is great i named him
HOWARD lol
What i would like to know is
what all do they eat?
can i put anything else in with him?
what should there TEMPS be at?
and is what i have him in good enough?
I have him in a 20 gal hexagon tank with Woodland Sphagnum Moss a rock cave and some real plant's his Humidity is 80% and he has a 40 WATT uv light is this good
he is one cool little frog he also likes to pi$$ on the wife lol
so i think i am going to hang on to this guy.

Sounds like an absolutely perfect enclosure, Brandon. Make sure that you mist his cage with DECHLORINATED water and you should also have a shallow water bowl for Howard to soak in :p Depending on his size, he should eat crickets(if he is small) and crickets with an occasional pinky mouse(if he is about the size of your hand or bigger...or maybe even a bit smaller.) He will also happily eat silkworms, butterworms, and waxworms. If you put any smaller frogs with him, he might decide that they look tasty and will try snacking on one of them, and chances are that he will succeed. If you get a bigger aquarium, he will be able to liive wityh another Whites treefrog his size. giant day geckos MIGHT be able to live with him although I doubt it since giant day geckos are better off living with frogs smaller than they are and since mixing species isn't very good. Temps in the 70s and low 80s would be good. You may also want to add a nice branch into his cage and some drift wood or cork bark since frogs love to climb on wood. Hope this helps!

Thanks Emily he is about the size of the palm of my hand i put a little rock dish in with him and i am going to put a branch in like you said and i spray his tank down 4-5 times a day and tomorrow i will be picking him up some wax-worms like you said
thank-you for your help Emily :)
They dont like TOO much humidity though ;) I love Whites Tree Frogs, I used to be an owner to a blue phase but what a story that is to tell. Sad ending, but quite the experience for me :) Enjoy the frog :) Watchin' them at night is the best :D
