Saw this little guy this eve. while road cruisin' with a friend. Also a FL. banded water snake. DORs were peninsula ribbons, and a gravid scarlet snake.http://gallery.reptilerap.com/data/544/196pigmy7b.JPG

Here he is next to a pic of my southern hognose. The hognose are sometimes killed when people mistake them for the pygmy rattlesnake. Unfortunately, many are of the idea that "the only good snake is a dead snake". Educate!http://gallery.reptilerap.com/data/529/196duskynsimus4-med.JPG

cool, do you find hognoses alot? i have wanted to catch one since i started herping, and i just cant find any, any suggestions? i live i northern Va
