.. I recently gotten a pit and I asked about the blood line of the adult parents, which I seen and the owner said they were a Molony blood line. I know that red nose and blue nose are a sellers catch for a quick sell and a raised price but I don't recall hearing of a Molony. Any help would be great. I will, also post a pic tomorrow. The parents were really friendly and an unrelated pair; and were short and stocky. Thanks

I have been involved with staffs and bandogges for quite some time, and have never heard of Molony. Have you tried contacting CKC or AKC for them to give you any insight?
Beautiful pup.....good luck with its growing and remember.....LOTS OF CHEW TOYS

You won't get anywhere contacting the AKC about an APBT, as the AKC does not recognize the American Pit Bull Terrier. CKC, or ADBA would be where you want to look.
I have not heard of the line you mentioned. As far as the terms "red nose" and the like, don't pay them much mind. People use the term "red nose" for any dog that has a red nose. I have two pits that are out of Ragin' Cajun (a red nose line), but both of mine have black noses (from the mothers side). I used to have a Colby line female, and she had a red nose.
Just be happy to have one of the best breeds of dog that there ever was!!

By the way, I have a total of three pit bulls, but the third pit is from an unknown line (adopted). Just thought I would mention that.

..I was informed that I was most likly told it was a Malones line not molony.. And me being a moron and was overtly excited over this new beast, wasn't paying much attention. So I'm assuming I was told right. However here's some more eye candy..

Don't know about a Malone's line but there were Maloney dogs that made a bit of a name for themselves - Maloney's 'Davis' (a great looking dog - maybe a bit leggier than what you describe as the parents of yours) and 'Toot' are both back in pedigrees - 'Toot' regarded as a very hard biting dog, 'Davis' less so. Davis sired the bitch 'Our Gal Sunday' and lines behind Maloney are predominately Williams, Tudors and Hubbard dogs. I am not up on recent APBT bloodlines and marketing gimicks, but the Maloney line is not as prominant as Colby and Tudor, so I doubt if it was just being used to make a sale. Regardless of pedigree, I am sure your new pup is just great - congrats

Sweet, thanks.

I'm not worried either, I just don't want to come about a situation where a breeder or sort asks what line is he and I respond with a none existing one. Just preparing, either way, he's doing good and took over the kittens fun/house box..
He's about 8 weeks, he's bigger than the pics proclaim, guess I should of used some sort of object to varify that but he's a pesky little critter.. Just about ready to get him properly trained.. By the way, his name is Sobek. Thanks for the replies, Xain
