Old digimon things...

Hey all. I was recently cleaning out my room, and came accross my old digimon virtual pet thingy. I know, kinda nerdy, but, I liked em for some reason (probably cause they could fight and stuff, lol)
I am not talkin about the new digimon things, I am talking about the old, rectangular ones with the "busted cage looking thingy" around the screen. Anyway, did anyone else like these things (like back in 96 or 97, or whenever)? and, if anyone has any of these that still work, and would like to sell them to me, I want them! lol

Ya I remember, I would spend like an hour sitting there feeding the thing so it would evolve so I could show up to all my friends. Saaad! lol

Hey guess what!! I didn't collect digimon sorry to say, but I liked pokemon, yeah!! It was the "cool" phad back then *thinks back and remembers trading a buncha cards, and buying a 1st edition Charizard for $35* I can't believe I spent money on cards I coulda been spending on herps... ugh!

it kept beepin because it was ill but i give it medicine 24/7..i think something was wrong with it!

i have 2 of those somewhere.....and several other types! im trying to find some on ebay....but theyre charging like £10!!! gits.....im gonna go ask my bros little friends:D hehe

I used to watch the cartoon - every single day... but that's the extent of it, I think.

Before the cartoon, when you had to feed it and stuff, kinda like a 2nd edition tamagachi(sp?)lol, yeah, it is sad :D

I found one at a restaurant once and tried to figure it out. I believe I got the hang of it (it was hard trying to figure out how to do everything when there were just 2 buttons to choose from!) After about 2 weeks it kept beeping and my pet looked like it was going to die. Although I found it (adopted/rescued it- some may say) I got rather attached. Because I couldn’t figure out what the heck it wanted I left it in another restaurant so someone else would be able to find it and maybe put it out of it’s misery.

AH, pokemon....no offence but I cant STAND any of those japanese cartoons. They all are so pointless! Especially that new one, I think it's called yu-gi-oh or something. Me and my friends just sit there and make fun of them when they come on lol.
