Hi list members,

We don't post too often in this forum, but we have read enough post to know you are a great group of "cham lovers"

Reptayls, Ltd. is our business - we are breeders of chameleons, specializing in the panther morphs. We also have veiled; melleri; pygmy leaf species; deremensis; jacksons; quadracornis; rudis and flapneck.

Not only do we do "rescues" (most often paying to get the animals out of horrid conditions), but sometimes we have a clutch that results in one or 2 "less than perfect" animals. Most often a minor problem - such as a nipped tail or just being a runty cham. We try to find loving homes for these when they get bigger - and we are sure they are otherwise healthy.

Currently, we have a few such "adoptables" available. Most are at least 4-5 months old. If you would be interested in pictures, details, etc - just drop me an email - reptayls@yahoo.com

The animals are free to a good home. :)
They may, however, require shipping.

Just so that there is no confusion....

We are also importers, and we have a shipment coming in from Madagascar soon. Some of these "imports" may be put over on the "adoption list" if they are flawed too.

Just to be clear.... most often, it is the veiled that get the tail nips.. very seldom do panthers really attack conspecifics at a young age.

For example, currently we have a 6 month old veiled male - beautiful - but he got attacked and lost about 1-1/2" from the end of his tail. The tail is completely healed... and he uses it well for balance - but he is undesirable in most circles - especially if someone wants a showy animal. However... "Bob" is a nice looking cham (looks a lot like the one Trace sent to Kate) and will make a good breeder. He is in need of a good home.

If you are in Canada, chances are you will not be able to receive any adoptable chameleons from us.

As Reptayls, Ltd. is in the USA, it would be more than difficult to get the chameleons into Canada from here. If you lived close to B.C., it might be possible to meet you and deliver the cham - but that is stretching the odds.

Just curious what needs a home. We've got plenty of room. I've talked to you before on some other groups, we had talked about cages before and doing some business with some of my juveniles, that was about 8 months ago or so.

Let me know if any still need homes.

Folks,

This week we will be offering some "pets only" female panthers. These are runts from last year's clutches, and all are 8 months or older - but very small. They are healthy eaters, friendly, but just "miniatures". These girls may or may not eventually have eggs... none yet - but we do not recommend breeding anyway as they are too small.

If you think you can offer a good home to one of these "little gals" or want more details, contact us. Hopefully, I will post some pictures soon too.

Take care,
