Ok, I've been doing alot of research into genetics, I plan on becoming a python breeder after college...

And I just found, on this site mostly, that everyone says things like "I have 2.3 corn snakes, 2.0 ball pythons, 0.1 milk snakes, etc."

I feel kind of juvenile and uneducated by asking. But hey, no questions no answers right? So...What do the numbers mean?

Thank you in advance,
Jenn

i believe the first number is the amount of males you have, second is females and 3rd is unsexed
1.1.1 is 1 male, 1 female and 1 unsexed:)

that is correct

Just remember that Males ALWAYS come first and you should be fine LOL

That's so the females can kick them in the butt when they step out of line, LOL. :D

This is how I put it simply... Male.Female.Unsexed :) Whatever number you have in place of those is how many of each sex you have of that herptile.

You guys are all right :) And don't feel like a juvenile...I work for many petstores but only recently learned what the numbers meant myself ;)
