 Its ok to mist the whole cage,, just dont soak the cage. You want it moist and humid not soggy.. the temps should be around 78 to 80... just wondering how do you have them set up?? Also did you know dead decaying leafs and rotted wood are great for them,, just dont use pine or any kind of pine trees.. We use old rotted fall apart type wood , maple or elm, basicaly what ever we find out here in the woods, also lots moss..

here's what i do.....i've got them in a 10 gallon with a base of organic potting soil (4")and loose sphagnum(3") on top. i had a small heating pad around 80 and they wouldn't go to that side so i took it out and now its about 72-75 and they go everywhere. I usually mist the walls and the sphagnum. the soil is slightly moist but not wet at all. I feed em cucumbers & apples mainly and i've got rotton oak leaves and some chalk lying around too. One problem I've found is that i have to remove their food and replace quite often because it gets moldy (heard that was no good). thats about it. thanks for the tips!
