oh my god people!i understand if your snake refuses to eat frozen and you really have to feed them live, but........................but a weeks ago i posted on the python forum that i had rescured a ball python and was very ill and sure to die, i nursed her back to health, eating and shedding perfectly.
now the iresposnable owner has decided that after being fed frozen rats all her life, hes fed up and think its boring, so he came to my house recently and openly declared that he was gonna buy a live rat,rip its teeth out with a plyers and feed it to her.....just for the fun of it!Do you support my decisen to ask him to leave my house and never come back?

Hell yeah. Teeth removing with pliers is pretty psycotic and is obiously displaying some sort of mental illness. I wouldn't want him around me, my stuff or my family. WACKO!

that is a herper that has animals for all the wrong reasons.
Ya I can see removing the teeth if the snake won't eat but just for the shear fun of it is just plain dumb.
Yes I do... some people just shouldn't have made it past age one.

Maybe someone should rip his teeth out and feed him to a Retic just for fun.

HI,
This is a prime example of someone who shouldnot keep reptiles,
They are living creatures and the poor rat having his teeth pulled out... Geeze I have finally converted all my animals to frozen thawed and feel a tremendous relief from not having to thump, whack, break, and abuse some rather nasty little rodents..
I had some really sweet mice and rats as a kid and don't care much for killing them.
i have heard there are people who actually keep dogs to fight them and win money. How can you keep something and then try to use it to win money. I guess I am a whimp...

May be you could find that snake a new home. before its chewed up and discarded cause it will not kill ..o>
psps before you rescue another animal make the owner sign over the ownership to you that way you can find it another home legally and prevent any future pain .. Don't let the psycho back in your home he may be bored with the animal abuse and move up to something a little larger.
I ve read that many mass murders start out abusing animals like cats and dogs, if your seeing this in your neighbor hood you may have someone who's very ill that could be dangerous to you and your family. Scarry stuff :(
Can't beleive someone can even think doing this..
I'm not a rat fan, but holly **** this guy is a dangerous freak !
Scary part is that he told you about it :)

If he's that stupid he shouldn't even be able to care for himself let alone another living creature. Maybe you could give him a stuffed animal and see if he can take care of that. That's the problem with people today they don't give a **** anymore, they don't realise that there must be respect for all living beings. Sorry but i'm trying not to generalise, but idiots don't deserve any respect so i don't not give it.

i totaly agree. i am a strong belever on anamal rights and the reson i got a snake was shure as hell not related to how they ate, also i think the anamal should not have to go through any more pain and suffering then it realy should. i feed all my snakes frozen that will take it and the ones that dont i am currently transitioning them to it.

He is a bit unstable, luckily for me i have no children or he wouldnt cross my threshold, in future if he ever comes for me to me crying saying his snake is ill i will make him sign thanks for the tip, an as for as the looking after part, your right he cant even look after himself. I think its wrong that petshops today just sell exotic animals which need some knowledge on how to keep them, to anyone and everyone. I for one when my babies come(finger crossed) will not be selling to just anyone and make people well aware that some sort of test will be adminsterated before i will sell them.

Geez, that's wacky! I don't even feed live pinkies anymore after
I heard them squeal. I've started feeding my monitor crickets from out of the freezer too. Mostly the PK crickets are an attempt to reduce aggressive on the part of the lizard though.
