I hope I'm not flooding the forum with too much mail:)

I was wondering what's the best way to house geckos under a year old to get them ready for breeding next year? I'll have three 1.2 breeding colonies breeding in 12"x24" tanks. For now I'll be housing the males seperately in 18"x10" housings each. I was wondering what I should do with the females while getting them ready to breed. I can either put 2 in each of the 12"x24" breeding tanks, or put all of them individually in 18"x10" tanks. I was thinking they'd be better individually so I can make sure they're all eating right. Is this a good idea?

Thanks,
Martin

Female leos will do fine together, if they have enough room, hides and food. If they are already well established, eating, and healthy I see no problem keeping them together. Just observe their eating and make sure both are of similar size and hunting well.

What zoe said and make sure you give them a nesting box and have the incubator ready to go for when the lay the eggs.

i house 6 female leos in a 75 gallon cage with 8 different hides.
