I can't find my snake books; what's the estimated lifespan of a Columbian Red Tail Boa and a Hog Isle Boa?
Thanks!

20-30 years is what most will tell you.

And is that what most people have experienced around here?
Lifespan discussion can be a sticky topic. Most healthy captives will make 20 to 30 years(some much more some much less)If you plan on 20 years you would be in a mean average life span.I cannot stress enough the services of a good vet and proper vet check up's every 6 months or so,I love boa's cause they are so long lived but it is hard to see a pet of so many years go (you really do get very attached or at least I do) Good question! makes you have to use the old noodle.
