I was feeding my geckos and I noticed a small circle hole in my females face, right about her nostrals. Does anyone know what this might be from? I don't think there is anything that she can poke herself on in the cage. I don't think the male bit her there and I don't think this can be from breeding. I will get a pic up as soon as possible.
My cage is very clean, can I just keep her in there and check daily if it is healing well, or do I need oiment to go on the hole?
Thanks

what kind of "Hole" is this. is it a scratch on its nose or a hole through its face?

It's like a cut.. But it's a perfect circle and a bit deep. It's starting to scab over now. The cut must have must happend before I saw it. I think she will be fine. There is light bruising around the cut area. Which leads me to belive she might have been bitten. Maybe my male was trying to mate and just grabbed the wrong end?
Thanks
that happened with my cresty!
A cricket decided to fight back and took a little munch on Mung's hind leg..maybe u should put some Pollysporen on it just in case?
That's what I did whith my guy and it's starting to heal over now.
All so you should take out any left over crickets during the day so that will not happen again.
That's my .02 cents.
Hope I helped u some?

Well, I don't feed crickets and there was no meal worms in the bowl when I spotted it. So that about rules out that case. I guess I'll never find out. It seems to be starting to heal already...
Thanks
