everyone tells me that it is very difficult to breed mali's...what is your POV on breeding them? i have 2 mali's and am hoping that there male and female but im pretty sure there to young to be able to tell....

good luck with the hatchlings though..thats some crazy pics you got there!!!

Sexing them can be really difficult.. The one that laid eggs today has so much yellow on her back that I would have bet money that she was a male. until I actually seen her breed.

I sex them by seeing huge femoral pores and hemi-penial buldges.

Congratulations Gillards, great to see such an infrequently bred animal reproducing with such gusto. That gives other prospective breeders well needed influence and encouragement. Best wishes with incubation.
