Mites... anyone have a pic of'em on your snake?

hey i was just wondering how mites look like...

also how does one get it?

We don't have any pics of mites as when we had mites it was like ok time to get the provent a mite, nick the infestation in the bud before it spreds. But they're little black dots that sometimes move.... easy to spot on albinos

We figure ours came in with some substrate we bought from a petstore.

If you do have them go to Walmart and get Sawyers Tick Spray or Repel Permanone they are similar (maybe the same) as Provent-a-mite and 1/3 the price.

great info, thanks. I checked my Cali King today and hes all greyish today, i guess hes about to shed, anyway it made it easier to look for mites and i didnt find any :)
