She's been busy today....

... I looked in on her before work this morning and there were no eggs. About 8 hrs. later I found she was well on her way to a nice clutch. Anyone want to guess how many she'll lay? She's hiding her head in the upper left. More pics to follow I'm sure!

Very cool! I wasn't able to get any pics of my female cornsnake laying eggs, I only tried once but she made it clear she wasn't in the mood for photos. :(

Ya know what, I have NO clue! Considering me and Katt thought "pearl", my albino stripe/abberant female, was gonna lay between 7-9 eggs when she started laying. Took her 24hrs and she got 13 out!! All good! She's still got one more in there, but I'm worried that she's retaining it. Poor girl was in labour the whole day. Lesson to all those who wanna rush and breed snakes early. It's alot what waiting an extra year. This is Pearl's first clutch, and what a number!

Once things slow down in my life, I will post pics. :)
