Female gray band pic I took earlier this month. She's really showing now with eggs. Are there many gray band keepers up in Canada?http://gallery.reptilerap.com/data/526/196graybandf2.JPG

I'm getting one unsexed soon and I'll try to pair him/her up later on in the season. I never used to like the look of them until "certain people" started posting so many pics! ;)

I've got one and I know of one other here in NB. I tried to sell it once on this site and I could not get $100 for it. I decided to give to one of my students who has been dying for a snake ever since I started teaching at his school and bring in snakes. His parents are friends and his Mom has pet store experience and lots of commons sence so I figured what's one Gray Banded compared to a new potential life long herper for the province.

CK; That's a fine-looking Blair's.
I used to have a pair. I know that Roy Stockwell used to breed a lot of them (That was where I got mine) and I think Paul Gillard has some. There are a few Grey-Banded keepers up here.
I honestly find Canada a bit "slow" when it comes to colubrids in general. It's always seemed to me as though Canucks are more enthralled with Boids for some reason (not that I have anything against Boids, mind you).
Trevor; That was a really nice gesture. With any luck you'll have another herper hooked... Way to go!

Well this Canadian boy likes GB's for sure. I currently own 2.3 adult breeders (none of which are related to each other) & all 3 females are gravid & are currently in their prelay sheds. All 3 girls had the same stud as I just aquired the other male this spring after they had all already been bred. I'm looking forward to lots of babies from them so try contacting me in a few months if interested in some. Mark IsBell - GONE SNAKEE!
It sucked when I had to sell off the pair I got from you Mark I. I need more this year to make up for my stupidity. Does anyone do locality GB's up here, or is Daytona my only hope?
BTW, my avatar is the female I got from you Mark. I'm keeping her pic as a reminder as to how stupid I can be.

Well Vanan I must say that I'm rather humbled that you choose a snake I produced as your avatar. I always thought it was a nice looking Grayband, but didn't realize that it had came from me. WOO HOO THX for the publicity. Mark I.
P.S. Unfortunately I have no idea on localities of mine. The only thing I do know is that none of them are remotely related at all.
P.P.S. Your male Str. Albino CK shed yesterday & the VBB female should shed before you get her also. M.I.
Cool! Thanks Mark! Can't wait for TARAS!!

Vanan I think Big Ken does locality G.B. I'm not 100% though.
