did it ever happened that a venomous snake was born without venom glands like a genetic problem ???

I am sure it has happend before....... In a wild situation the snake would not last long after its first shed......... I think it would be more like a freak accident rather than a genetic problem....... I dont think there are any documented cases but I guess anything can happen.........

Martin, Stop on by, you will get your wish. It is not a smart thing to do, but not too many would vouch for my being so smart, and that would not be such a big feat.

Um Ray i'll vouch for you but who will vouch for me . by the way i think ive seen that snake someplace before, it is a chondropython right lol.
k, if that is indeed a green mamba, it must be a baby. Those things grow to almost 20 feet don't they?
What I like about mamba's is they are so thin, long and thin.
Anyone got a ball park figuire on a cost for one of those imports?

no offense, but if you think they get 20 feet, ya don't need one. Mambas are for VERY advanced hot keepers. They don't leave much room for error.
I don't want one. My nightmares are bad enough. I'm sure they could find a reason to charge me for murder when all my roomies, and the rest of the people on my floor are dead.
Green Mamba = Dendroaspis angusticeps
(just so I don't get yelled at for posting a pic) check;

I think that one at the above address could be about 12 to 15 feet depending on the cage size.
But research tell me 6 or 7 feet, and around $250 usd.

They can't charge a dead man for murder!!! We sell them for $135 (to the qualified keepers).

I just didn't feel like retyping it all again ;) Prolly ought to give it a little bump every couple months since it is a topic that comes up often, particularly when we get new members.
