Hey Guys, sorry I bug you again, but there's this guy here selling a micrurus frontalis (a S.American Coral Snake) ensuring that it feeds on unscented pinkies (although I highly doubt it).
Are you aware of "converted" coral snakes feeding rodents? (if you are, i'll soon post the picture of my new snake, LOL).
Thanx, Martin.

I've heard of them feeding on mice, but I've never seen it for myself. If it was captive born, there is probably a greater chance - since he probably started giving it pinks right as a baby. I think its a risk you'll always have to take if you want a coral. :)

It's possible Ive heard of it myself but i must agree it was probably a small snake when he got it or he breed them,I have converted W/C Scarlet snakes to pinks so it might even be possible with W/C corals.

Scott, all my coral snakes on the venom line eat rats and other things (although they don't have a choice --- amazing what a common household blender and cath. tudes can do)

heard of it but noones ever done it in front of me. A brown anole was the only thing I have ever seen a captive eat on it's own.

Ive seen you with a pinke pump Mr you know who, and I would advice everyone to stand back behind bullet proof glass.

I don't use a pinky pump on a coral snake! It can damage thier insides. I use a modified foley cath.
