We got the rain in Saskatchewan, but no snow. We sure can use the moisture here. I hope the weather improves for next weekends spring rattlesnake count and BBQ. Are there any of you Alberta people joining us?

Hey Xetox, the funny thing is prior to the 1.5 ft dump we had last week there was no snow at all & it was like almost 70 f out. Then it all melted this week & now it has been snowing steady here since Friday night again. Most all of it has melted, but theres around an inch of build up. Much better then last week when we got a foot & a half in a few hours. We have probably gotten more snow in the last week then we have for all of 2003. Calgary weather, you got to love it. Almost 70 f one day, below freezing the next. The thing that sucks the worst is that it makes it really hard to establish & regulate temps in a snake room when the outside temp may rise or drop 40-50 degrees in just a few hours. Oh well. Mark I. - GONE SNAKEE!

Oh yeah & I forgot to mention the May long weekend is the TARAS spring show in Calgary, so it is almost guaranteed to snow that weekend for sure, seeings how it is a long weekend & a reptile show. LOL Mark I.

Our winter is fairly short, it can get bad at times but it sounds like our dead of winter is like your may!

If I was you I would pack up and move south....like say ummm texas :)

Still snowing in Edmonton. We got about 15-20 cm yesterday & last night. Another 10-15 cm expected today and up to 30 cm predicted for tomorrow.

It still beats the dryest year in 100+ years that we had last year.

It's been sunny here... 70s and 80s...
But Kansas has insane-o weather, we can go through all four seasons twice in a week (not exagerating, I'm serious) The weather can litterally change dramatically in 10 minutes. It's crazy stuff, but that's what makes it fun.

LOL -- yeah, I saw that on the news last night :) Snow in May... oie! Although that happened a few times when I was living in Toronto...

At least you're not getting Tornados like the states...

lol sometimes I forget I'm in the land of the igloo at this site, here in New Mexico the dogwood and plum bloomed back in either late Feb of the begining of March (pretty sure it was Feb). Driving home from out of town yesterday I think I saw a male Rio Grande blonde tarantula on the prowl for a girl already and usually they aren't out till June lol
