My New Gecko!

Okay well I my beautiful new leopard gecko came home today! She is a super hypo tangerine...oh my god...I have never seen anything like this in my life!:eek: In the photo she looks pretty but in person she looks like she is everything with color in the world! Truly amazing! Not to mention...what a pig! :) She ate about seven crickets and is settling in fine. I didn't think that she would be this small so whenever she goes to eat mealworms, she has to climb into her bowl!!:D It's so cute! She is almost as big as my 10 month old leopard gecko's tail :p Thank you, Connie and Lewis, for making such a beautiful baby and thank you, tarzets, for raising her! She is so truly amazing!

I find them so freaking adorable as little babies :) Your new little tyke looks fantastic!

As for a name, I would tend to go with a very feminine name as she has just pretty colors and leo's have the prettiest faces!

I voted for Juliette but still like your original idea to name her Teresa.

She's so cute!!! I've never owned a baby leo cuz I bought my male/2 females 4 years old. I have 6 eggs though so I'm crossing my fingers! Seeing all these baby geckos here makes me so jealous! Hopefully I'll be able to join you guys soon:)

BTW. I voted for Juliette. If you get a male you should name him Romeo (from Shakespeare).

Vic. DO NOT mix anything with your tokay!! It is certain death. Especially just a little leopard gecko, he wouldn't stand a chance. If you want to mix geckos you could go with goldens and white lines. I have a 40gal that has Anoles and White Line geckos and soon goldens too. A Tokay is far too dangerous to mix with anything but other tokays.

i've housed a tokay. golden and white-lined in the same enclosure for over 2 1/2 yrs. they were in a 15 gal. tall for 1 1/2 weeks until i got a 35 gal. hex for them.. and i had no problems with them at all. i just have the tokay now because i gave the white-lined and golden away. (the tokay did not eat them)
