well i got off my butt and decided to do something so why not make some cages. ive already made 2. 1 is 4x2x2. and the other is 3x18x18. they are not quite done, all i have to do now is put the tracks and the glass in then i will be ready to use them. heres some pics.

the small one will be housing a ball python and the big one my 5.5 foot BCI

whats the cost per cage on those? mine always end up costing an arm and a leg so i might use tanks from now on.

there was no silicon in there at the time i took the pics but there is now :)
havent got the glass yet but will be getting it cut from a buddy at the glass shop for next to nothing.
its nice to have friends in the glass shops :)
Nice boxes!
One quick coat of sealant(like for drywall) on the rough edges will double the life of them. I always seem to spill water and it has saved mine a few times.

You should put melamine edge tape on the edges to protect the wood. Will increase the life of those cages. Good Job...

Look Nice.. It give me an idea to build for myself. Let me ask you that are you going to add hinge or sliding door?
