I don't know latin names of some of the not-as-well known pythons, so if it's already listed, ignore this post........lol.

There are so many species of carpets, though. The variegata is the Irian Jaya. M.s.cheynei is the Jungle. etc etc... there are a couple of different scrubs as well... not just amethistina.

Actually, I was applying variegata to the Northwestern Carpet Python.

morelia carinata also known as rough scaled python this is by far my favorite looking snake .. too bad ill never own one of these :)
