Congrats! I love Columbian Red Tails they are so nice! I've never checked but I'm assuming they're BCC, is that right?

I wrote columbian thinking brazilian. Even though the post says Columbian. Some days I just shouldn't post. Cause I know full well that Columbians are BCI.

Boidkeeper, from what i've read on a website and from people saying here there is a colombian BCC but the one in the pic above is most likely BCI since it is the most common. Actually most people I believe have stopped calling them red tails and just refer to them as colombian boa constrictors.

The pattern is cool but the snake is a little thin. Try using fenbendazole. If it has internal parasites (worms) might not gain weight. Also, doesn't look as a red tailed Boa, more like common colombian.

Hey Greg,

I would agree with you, this is probably a common, it was sold as a red tail, frankly I really don't really care one way or the other as this one will not get bred. Regarding worms, I did plan on a trip to the vet in the next couple of weeks and I will inquiry at that time. meantime, he is eating very well and body tone is very good. I will let you know what the vet says
