Hello all I have a question for all you bearded dragon people I am realatively new to bearded dragons but have done all my reaserch but the question is do beardies usually have saggy sides when they are laying down?My little female is just over a year old and when she lays certian ways her sides look saggy like she has loose skin is this normal ,when she is up and around she looks fine.I check her temps every other day to make sure she has what she needs she eats her insects but not to keen on her veggies I am trying different combos but she is just nibbeling on the veggies .Thanx in advance AL,I know I will hear from you Eyespy you sweetheart thanx for all your help so far:D
yes it's normal as long as you cant see the hip bones and it looks full and rounded. They seem to have fairly loose skin around the sides

What if the female is gravid and you see the shaggy skin, is that normal??
If she's standing and nothing is supporting a big old egg belly you shouldn't see much slack in the skin, but if she's lying down with the weight of the eggs fully supported sometimes the skin looks looser than before she became gravid.
