i feel soo good because i rescued my mates ball python and now am nursing it back to health...shes 3foot and he had her in the most appauling conditions(9 foot tank,excess heat,no heating routine and lots of people fuss arsing all the time)...well she refused to eat-can u blame her!?. i keep boas and dont know that much bout pythons,but i had her brought over and set up one of my smaller 3foot tanks...and...whalla shes eating and everything ive even renamed her..im soo proud :D

Good for you on that rescue! That shows that you truly love animals. You are lucky that she ate after all that suffer she been through because you should learn that Balls are oportunistic feeders and they go through looong fasting periods. Put a lot of hiding places for her to feel secure and start to feed her easy in a weekly or 10 days schedule. Take care of her and post a pic for us to see her.

we;; sorry i havent posted for a while but ive been a bit pre-ocupied...cleo has gone back to her owner,much to my dispare...he came to my house with 2 other boys and demanded her back...then a week later he shows up at my house acting all nicey nicey and i asked him to leave..he says that hes making the effort and looking after her...it broke my heart and theres nothing i can dono i dint deaw my cobra found it online..cool huh

It was a sweet story Emily, until the kid came and took it back as Angel just told us. I am sorry to hear that, you should have gotten some pics of the setup if possible, then you could have shown them to the Animal Rescues and might have a chance at keeping it:( Lets just hope he is keeping up with it and the same doesnt reoccur again

k thanks but i actually think hes making an effort...ive seen her tank and its not to bad she eating and he called me over the other day to see her eyes were milky so fingers crossed he might have learned his leason

way to go dude! I have a BP also, just keep in mind that at some point it may decide to go off of feed..they tend to do this..my BP didnt eat for 8 months..I tried everything..just didnt want to eat..this was from mid Sept-mid May. 1 1/2 weeks ago it finally at a small mouse after all that time...and then just ate again yesterday! YIPPY...got her/him feeding again. Now i just gotta slowly switch back to small rats.
