Here are some pics of the scarring on my female BCI's head.
I adopted her from Va Reptile Rescue with the scarring already present. The vet checked her out shortly after I adopted here and gave her a clean bill of health. He said that the scarring and lost scales was probably due to mouth rot or a burn that was not treated properly when she was younger. It is an absolute shame, she is such a sweet snake. Docile and friendly as a snake can be.
