Which one can be cared for in just a Kritter Keeper, fed crickets and worms ect. At the petstore they have an Osckilated skink for $11.99 and a House Geckos $2.99 ea. Which one is the better out of the two? info? lifespan? growth? More info? Thanks!

 James, are you looking for something that stays small, what size critter keeper are we talking?? Youl have to provide some kind of heat, house geckos arent to bad.. Have you thought about Emerald swifts, crevice spineys, you really should invest in a 10 to 15 gal tank for a small lizard with under the tank heatting, a small light and a screen top..

Well atleast 4 to 5 ft is fine, i think i can get a tank with those rock heaters, no, dont know anything on lizards. Call me a newbie.

DON'T get a rock heater. For some reason these things are STILL being sold, even though they can be very dangerous. It is very easy for them to overheat and burn your lizard.
Instead of trying to fit your lizard into your cage, why don't you find a lizard you like, read up on, and get a proper sized cage? That way you get exactly what you want -> a cute, healthy, happy lizard! :]
I LOVE fat-tailed geckos, personally. One is good in a 10gal, 2 can be kept in a 15 gal. They are very tame, easy to breed, and hardy. They are the cutest little faces, eat mealworms and crickets, and require basic care :]
