Here is the warm side
http://www.ssnakess.com/photopost/data/500/175bdenclosure1.gif
the large white-ish slab is a ceramic floor tile.. it's temp is approx 78, with the 3 large rocks temps ranging from 82-88 depending on the rock. [it's amazing what ONE inch in height can do for temps!

and the cool side
http://www.ssnakess.com/photopost/data/500/175bdenclosure2.gif
under the green "cave" is wet peat moss.. they LOVE rolling in the stuff when they are about to shed, the leaf with the yellowy green markings sits in a water dish so we just mist the leaf and any excess water they don't lick from the leaf collects in the hidden dish.

and overall

You might want to up your basking temps in the cage. Usually beardies like a hotter basking temp, between 100-110. NIce cage setup

Greg I had a higher temp on the basking spot and they wouldn't go near it.. mine just seem to like it cooler I gues.. :)

Thanks for the compliments everyone.

Renee, do you have a heat source from above or just from below?

ReneeB

Kat I don't have any below heating.. it's down by a heat lamp and florescent strip. The rock provide all the needed belly heat.. I'm adding a black or red lamp in for nighttime heating.. as the temps last night on the rocks dropped to 60.. [was cold here yesterday]
The timer currently is set for 14 hrs daylight and the rest night, BUT the heat lamps do go off every 4 hrs during the day for a period of 1 hr, just so they don't over heat and burn down the enclosure :)

Sounds good! They don't need much belly heat anywho (if any) they need it more from the top. I'm lucky, my heat lamp stays on for 12 hours and doens't go about 105. At night my place stays pretty good so it's usualy around 72 (yay me!!) Anywho, have fun!! :)

acutally Lisa it's 2ft wide x2 deep and 4 ft long so it's really big for two 11 inch beardies :)
