Chris accidentally forgot to close the cage and Diggy crawled out yesterday (wed) sometime after 10 am. So far CHris has looked as much as he can and has set up one of those "have a heart" traps over a heat pad in hopes that Diggy goes there. Apart from turning the house upside down (he lives in a BIG house) I don't know how we will find him. If anyone has any super creative tricks to catch a Leopard Gecko PLEASE let me know!!!

In all your doorways place a strip of low adhesive double-sided tape. You can also lay down some paper towels with heat pads on them or hot rocks and he'll seek out these warm spots. My goodness, that really sucks. I had a pictue gecko get out in our old warehouse and after three days we finally found him, sleeping under a heat log I keft out on o paper towel! I sure hope you find him. Be sure to look under everything twice! And be careful putting on your shoes too!

yeah We lost my bros BRB one time. we tried everything. Nothing worked after almost 2 weeks we found her slithering along my bros bed. You'll find her eventually. No worries. But the heat pads do work

I've lost mine MANY times with my hold way my cage door was set up. Everytime I found her, it was 1AM and she was still in my room. Just wait till it's really late. That's your best bet!

Thanks for the replies, you guys have some great ideas. Thanks to everyone in chat who also had some great ideas. I'm going over chris's house this weekend and I've got some foil baking trays that we're going to fill with sand and put either over a heat pad or under a heat lamp along with hides and a dish of mealies. We are hoping with the sand that even if we don't catch him, we'll be able to see if he's used the set-ups by his tracks and know if he's definitely in the room or not. I'm not kidding when I say Chris lives in a BIG house. I'm praying Diggy is still in his room because on Saturday we're going to strip his room down to the bare walls to see if we can find him. If he's not in Chris's room, it will take months to find him. Keep your fingers crossed for us. I'll keep you posted.
