Hamster of Borg

I went out herping this last weekend with a bunch of friends... I got completely skunked, I didn't find anything myself, but my friends were more than lucky enough for me. :)
We came across three western coachwhips, a pair of them doing their job to further the species.

A monster TX coral snake (on the right), 35" when most of the corals we see are 24" or less (on the left). This coral was the only animal brought home from our trip - aside from a little gulf coast toad.

And a western diamondback, that was less than impressed at being dug out from under his tin.

As well as a nice 3' prairie king, mm - musky. :)

Gearing up to be a pretty good year. :)
