hey,
i dont know much about coachwhip care in captivity and i am haveing a hard time finding care sheets and such on them. if you could give me some links to care sheets or some advice about owning coachwhips ( feeding, cage, ex.) it would help me out a great deal thanks.

...I kept mine in a large 8'x4'x2' plywood enclosure with a screen front, as well with a few hides, a large water dish and a two basking lamps. I keep the temp. at 80-85ish and the two spot bulbs at 90 and the other at 100. I personally kept them on river sand but you may use (news, butcher, copy) paper. Semi- arid animals..
On a side note, do not put anything in with Coach's. Mine seemed to eat anything that wasnt a coach. Heh.

I would think there would be differences in the care of Eastern and Western Coachwhips as well. I would assume you are talking about a Western as they are more readily available.
