This is the latest pic of Raven, my Mexican Black. She's really starting to put on some girth :D

Wow, Ace! She sure is getting big. She's looking nice.
Is she a good strong feeder, like the other kings we've all been talking about lately?

Cheers!

Thanks everybody :D

Simon: She's my best feeder. She has yet to turn down a feeding, and all she has to do is smell the mouse and she goes nuts!!! The one time I put her in with her fuzzy, she was striking at anything that moved. I put my finger (outside the feed tank) next to the fuzzy and she struck at my finger and caught the fuzzy! LOL

Whitewolf: I'm sure yours will look just as good ;) . Just wait till you see yours after shed. Nothing quite like a nice shiny black snake :D

I have always loved these snakes. Looks like yours will be a very nice example Ace.

Personally, I think Mex blacks should be WAY more popular than they are. Ours have always been good feeders, and the tamest kings.

Raven is a great name for a mex black! She's real shiny.

Nice one too Mark!! Producing any this year?

Like I tell anyone interested: they're bullet proof! Always eat, like to be handled, breed like mad, low maintenance and initial cost, and absolutely beautiful. What more can you want?

You may have to put me down for one Mark.
Vanan has his unrelated pair, and I have a younger female unrelated, but what the heck, better to have them all unrelated!

Hee hee, just gorgeous. My mex black is my favorite snake and I love seeing pics to remind me that he will become even more gorgeous as he grows.

My guy went on a slight hunger strike until he got down his constricting coordination, he was squeezing himself and not the fuzzie for awhile! Now that he's found his rhythm he's an eating machine once again.
