If you have ever saw meat in the freezer with freezer burn then this is what it looks like. Freezer burn is caused by somthing being in the freezer for too long or not rapped properly.
Do not ever feed your snake any rats or mice that are freezer burned.

It is fine to feed prey items with mild cases of freezer burn, however its best to avoid feeding anything with moderate to severe freezer burn. Nothing will happen to your snake if it eats mildy freezer burned items. Freezer burn is basically caused by moisture escaping when frozen, and can be influenced by how the item is packaged. Pinkies and fuzzies are more prone to freezer burn because of the lack of fur. It appears as white spots.
