I thought this would be an interesting thread, maybe get a little conversation going on here. So, to get to the point, here are my four questions:
1. What is the worst snake bite you have recieved.
2. What is the least painful snake bite you have recieved
3. What is the worst lizard bite you have taken.
4. What is the least painful lizard bite you have recieved.
I thought this would be an interesting topic, pictures are welcome :D

1. What is the worst snake bite you have recieved.
Never had anything bad. Been chomped by Brazilian Rainbow boas and an Irian Jaya Carpet, couldn't even feel them until after the fact, bled freely. Small specimens.
I'm a lot more careful with arboreals because of their bigger teeth, so I haven't been hit yet.
2. What is the least painful snake bite you have recieved
Baby Brazilian Rainbow. Feeding error.
3. What is the worst lizard bite you have taken.
That's easy. Sub-adult Frilled Dragon. Lots of jaw power, huge teeth complete with fangs, and a nasty, flesh-sawing shake of the head. Caused an oblique wound that probably should have been stitched. I was examining its cage-mate when it decided to leap 9 inches and grab my finger.
My second-worst lizard bite was also from an overly enthusiastic Frilled.
4. What is the least painful lizard bite you have recieved.
Uroplatus phantasticus bite. Feeding error.
1.Nothing painful yet
2.Baby red sided garter
3.Tokay
4.Lep gecko

I was bit several times by my burm (when she was a hachling) to tame her out. she wasent more that 2 feet so every time i got but is was alwas more supprising that painfull. and once by a 8 foot burm at a pet store. i was at my local pet store and i know the manager there and he said that he had a burm in back that someone gave up. so when he took it out of the sack the first thing it did is go straight for my hand and put a nice scar there. after that i didnt feel like adopting him so much.

Well only 1 snake has ever bitten me. It was a Black racer. It hurt, but not too bad.
worst lizard bite would have to be an adult green iguana. That made me bleed.
Least painful lizard bite would be a brown anole. You can't even feel those things.
I've had my worst bite from a burm
and the most painful from a viperboa.

The only snake I have been bitten by is my baby cornsnake, but that didn't hurt. I haven't been bitten by anything else though.:D
Same here, I've not really been bitten.
My yearling red sided garter seems to have stopped biting me (for today at least).
I've only been bitten by garters...the worst being on a field trip. She wouldn't let go, even started sucking on my wrist. My whole arm began to feel numb; I react to their anticoagulating chemical. I was also holding a baby (human).
At least Jenny didn't laugh too much at me when I asked her to help me get it off my wrist. :P
1. The bite from my IJ, which wasn't bad at all.
2. That bite, it's the only one I've ever had.
3. My chameleon! (she GRINDS her jaws)
4. A young fat-tailed gecko

The worst and the least painful lizzard bite would have to be my old iguana, since only one lizzard has ever bitten me, he just would not let go.

1. What is the worst snake bite you have recieved? Burmese python bite... she was only 5 feet but wrapped around my whole arm, and her teeth were deep in my wrist. I bled like crazy. It was blue and purple there for about a week.
2. What is the least painful snake bite you have recieved? ummm, I'd have to say the one from a little milksnake I recieved free from Petco. That thing thought it was so tough. But the patch nosed snake I caught felt pretty much the same.
3. What is the worst lizard bite you have taken? Savannah Monitor bite!! That thing has huge teeth, and he grabbed my hand and wouldn't let go until I submurged him under water. He's vicious!
4. What is the least painful lizard bite you have recieved? LOL, anole bite... do you guys think these lizards are stupid for trying to bite you or what? I mean... it's like "we can squash your stupid little head, you damn lizard!!" sheesh ;)

1. Most painful snake bite: from a 5' Hog Island boa, the gashes weren't that bad but he tagged me right on my hand ( I have very small hands) from across the tank at full force. I was left with bruises for two weeks, and for about three days my hand had felt like it had been hit by a softball.
2. Least painful snake bite: from a variety of hatchlings, corns, milks and kings.
3. Most painful lizard bite: 2.5' Sav. monitor. I was 16 at the time and I received 3 whole stitches on my hand below my thumb.
4. Least painful lizard bite: anole/ juvie crested gecko.
:skull: Jenn:skull:
most male suri (chewed me real good lots of blood and cursing )Least male columbian I had to look down to see if i got tagged felt like a tap very little blood. No lizzard bites(do not keep lizzards) I bet cobra man would have some good bites for this forum

The worst, which left permanent scars, was a 14' Burmese python which held on for 15 minutes. Right on my middle finger, right hand. 27 puncture wounds and LOTS of blood. Also the most profane use of the english language in history! After that no bite from anything has hurt.

i got taged by my 10 foot Green Burm
got a bite a 4 foot iguana
and a 3 foot Nile Monitor (hurt the most)
1. adult retic, and subadult green anaconda
2. rescued cornsnake
3. and 4. leopard gecko.... this is the only experience I have with lizards.
tagged and constricted by a 10 foot burm .. when he twisted he tor the skin . even then .. it really did not hurt that much ..
Any other baby snake bite..
Worst lizard.. a 3 foot water monitor.. bit my finger and fragmented my bone.. nothing beats a monitor for pain...
any other lil geckos.. and baby lizards..
A bit of a list,
8-10f Burm,ETB,ATB,several carpets-worst 9f male coastal, a 4 foot nile was lucky just got a love bite, schneider skinks just wont let go.lol
A pissed off marmoset hurt a lot, and so did a flying squirl. Most small rodents hurt more than the reptiles.

My worst Snake bite was a 5’ Retic Python he bit me once on the arm then he let go and bit me again on the hand... it was at a pet store too and the employees gave me store credit :P
My least painful snakebite was my adult ball python (it was a warning strike)
Worst lizard bite was a golden Tagu (sp?) at the pet store that I work at. He’s a nasty little bugger that loves eating fingers.
Least painful lizard bite was a baby Tokay gecko though I'm sure if he'd been an adult it would have hurt a lot more :P
