Well since everyone else is showing off their new chameleons, I had to post mine! I am VERY excited about these little guys, they are a drastic departure for me as they are almost ground dwelling chameleons. All my others are arboreal and need big, tall enclosures.

Here they are: Rhampholeon brevicaudatus or Bearded Pygmy Chameleons. I have a 1.4 group in here and have settled in nicely. Eating pinhead crickets and fruit flies like there is no tomorrow. The male is the one with the stripes and yellow eye turrets.

And a pic of their new house:

Thanks for looking!

Thanks for the compliments everyone! :D These guys are the coolest thing in my collection. I can't stop watching them! I never see them move, but if I go away for a bit and come back, they are all in different spots.

To answer a few of your questions, yes KaHane, it would be great to breed these guys. I'm hoping nature will take it's course in that tank! I did see one of the females digging today, but maybe she was just bored! I'm also still waiting for a PM about the B. Thieli chams of yours. HINT HINT.

As for size, they will attain a maximum length of about 4" from nose to tail tip. So they actually look bigger in that pic then in real life.

And Jaylyn.... first of all congrats on the upcoming additions! You are perhaps the only person who is more addicted to chams than I am! I want details and pics of yours as soon as possible. :D

Cheers!
