Well, now, there's a pic to give RESPONSIBLE herpers a bad name. No way would I let my big ones be in a position like that. My kids are 12 and 14, and they still get supervision with the medium(5-7ft) snakes I have here. Hope we don't end up reading about these folks in the paper.

All i see is a future meal bathing it's predator... (Was that cruel enough to shake some minds and get responsible before they ban forever herp keeping?!)

If you look at the pic carefully and note the condition of the child, it looks as if this is in a third world/area country where they don't really know any better. You see what I mean? It also looks to be at least a few years old, though it might just be a poor quality pic.

I posted that pic a while ago.... http://ssnakess.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=10740&highlight=bath
I'm not sure but the child looks to me to be a little too large to be a meal.

Yup, SnowFoxx, I would have to agree with you. That is probably taken in the country where that particular retic is indigenous to. I don't agree with having a small child in with the retic. I bet the kid was bathing and the snake decided it wanted to soak, too, LMAO. Someone took the pic, so there is no telling if the child or snake was removed from the bath after the pic was taken....at least the child was not alone.
Not all retics are monsters (in manners anyway). Those that are 2nd or 3rd generation CB are quite sweet, really. Incredibly intelligent, but sweet if kept under the right conditions.
