Two hides, two water bowls, a branch, paper towel substrate. I use a heating pad with a thermastat to regulate the heat on the warm side.
This has been FAR better than an aquarium I used to have him in. Keeping the humidity up is a PAIN with aquariums and is hardly ever stable unless you buy/build yourself a glass or plexi-glass lid. And even at that, ventilation is nil. With my rubbermaid I rarely have to do anything to keep the humidity at 70% and I have lots of air holes providing fresh air.
They rule.

I use a wooden enclosure, it helps keep in humidity and heat in better when i need it.
Why do you need TWO hides and TWO water bowls? I only have one of each. Should I be expanding? Hm....

Wrath - two water bowls aren't neccesary, but *at least* two hides are very neccesary!! You should have one on the warm side and one on the cool side, and if you can put some in between, that would be good. My BPs have five hides each. BTW, keep your water on the cool side of the cage, in case you didn't know that already.

Yes. I keep two water bowls and two hides.
One water bowl is kept on the warm side so it must be changed often, and I have noticed the BP only drinks the cool water anyway. Maybe chance. I don't know.
Two hides so he can hide on the cool side or the warm side. Simple as that. Normally the green hide os over to the far edge. He had pushed it over I guess in the photo.

marisa, What size is that tub and that ball?
Hi, the tub is a Rubbermaid 11 gallon. Its very clear so it doesn't prevent viewing when its not open. I love it.
The Ball Python is about two feet long I think...not to sure...
